Hello again! Today is another funny day. The smokestack at our high school cracked (they called it a 'structural malfunction) and so yesterday and today we don't have school (tomorrow was scheduled off because of parent/teacher conferences). It feels like saturday. Again. And the best part is, since the rest of the district (i.e. the little kids and middle schoolers) still have school, we don't have to make it up!!! :D Yay!!

On the other hand, I pretty much sat around doing nothing all day. And schoolwork. And more nothing. Kinda boring, but whatevs. Not really complaining. So that was fun

I am currently reading the Count of Monte Cristo as my extra book for english. We had to pick a classic, read it and do some projects over it. At the same time, in class, we are reading Macbeth. Actually we just finished. But now we have to write a paper over it. So I chose the Count of Monte Cristo because I loved the movie. But the book is WAY different, in case you were wondering. the first 250 pages or so are similar. And some other parts (I'm only about half done), but for the most part, the last 830ish pages are different. Thats right. Its about 1080 pages long. Ouch. But I like reading, so its ok.

My brain hurts. I've been doing stuff all day. Like sitting in my room trying to do my math homework, and my biology homework and my english homework. Ugh. Maybe I should go eat dinner......

The Years Pass quickly.

I think the last time I updated this was almost a year ago. I have two other blogs now, and even then I am not really updating any as much as I would like. I have so many personalities fighting for control in my brain, I can't decide which blog I like best. But that's ok. Its my own little world, and you'll just have to put up with it.

Ghost of The Wind

Sweet sun kissed leaves
Shining gold and fierce
Moonlight wavering
Stars shining bright
The gravel shards of rock rest
Next to dark, burned grass
The coolness in the night air
Slips past, a ghost of wind
And I feel you leave
You now are gone
Down that once sunny lane
Away forever
And never again will you run
Down that path, your happy place
Never will you shout to me, laughing
Smiling, happy yet sweating
Never, because you have gone
And gone you’ll stay
Not even as close
As the ghost of the wind


What do you think? It was written on a whim, so it won't be perfect. But I kinda like it. So there.

Snow Day! :) & :(

A Snow Day today!!! Yes I did homework on a snow day. Yes i Know I'm a dork :D
Mostly I just did some homework, practiced the violin, shoveled, took my adorable puppies out and finally played some Wii! it has been a pretty good day. But i was also kind of bored, sitting at home, no friends to talk to except through text. But I got through, and tomorrow, back to the books!

The Years Go By...

Well Everyone, another year has gone by since i was a tiny baby, born to my wonderful parents.
Yes its my Birthday, and Yes my day was wonderful. Although we did go back to school. I got to see my friends, so beat that present! :D anyways, I am tired and should go to bed, so sorry for the short post.

Happy New Year Everybody! (almost.) I hope this year is better than the last. it was a pretty good year, but there have been some very down moments. I feel that mistakes should be made, and some people could do without mistakes at all. and then there is that biigg Pet peeve of mine for being late. but whatever. im not really complaining. well, off to party with the Youth Group! Have a wonderful celebration and an excellent new year! (its a new decade too. and a Blue Moon tonight!)

Wow!!!

I have not posted in such a long time and for that I am sorry. I have been reading a lot lately, obviously, and in english we have been writing lots of poems. I love writing poetry, but hate writing structured poetry. Well, I've got to get back to that, so I will try and post more later.

Dragons! and Oracles

I just finnished reading the last Dragons in our Midst book, the fourth book in the sequal series Oracles of Fire called the Bones of Makaidos. it was AMAZING! for anyone out there reading this, both DIOM and OOF are the best books you will ever read. no one can beat Bryan Davis when he writes these. i only wish to one day write a book half as good. billy, bonnie, walter, ashley, and all the others are such inspiring characters. the poetry and songs are genious, and everthing else about them blows me away. i almost cried at the end because it was so happy and i was sad to be done! well, off to XC practice, so later!
