Hey everyone!
Just a quick update. It is two days before Christmas, and we are on break! We actually have been since Friday, because we had a snow day. I am kind of bored right now; I have been cleaning my room. Fun Fun. I have read two good books lately, Maximum Ride the second one, School’s out-forever. It continues in the adventures of Max, Iggy, Angel, Fang, Nudge, and Gazzy. Read it only after reading the first book though! ☺
The other book is Redemption by Karen Kingsbury. It is the first book in a series that has many sequel series as well. It is kind of hard to summarize, so look it up. Basically, anything by Karen Kingsbury is good!
I had an eye exam yesterday, just because I never had before. It took forever, but as of right now I have 20/20 vision. My sister says she hates me ☺. I also have something else really weird going on in my optic nerves or something, but they are not worried. So everything is good.
Guess I will say bye for now! More later

Maximum Ride: The Angel Experiment
Hey Everyone
Sorry I haven’t been blogging lately. I have been pretty busy.
The most recent book I read is called Maximum Ride: The Angel Experiment by James Patterson. It is about a girl (Maximum Ride) who lives with five other kids, 3 boys 2 girls and they all have wings. They were genetically enhanced by some scientists, and are 98% human, 2% bird. In the story the youngest of the ‘flock’, Angel, is captured by the ‘Erasers’, mutant half dogs, half humans who are kind of like werewolves, because they transform. The rest of the flock, Iggy, Fang, Nudge, Gazzy, and of course Max. they get Angel back by going to the ‘school’ where they were formed, so to speak. After that, they are still being chased by the erasers. They go all the way to New York City, to find the Institution, which is connected to the school, and free many other mutant children. They found a file on everyone’s parents except Max’s, and are going to D.C. to find them. That is were the book ends, because it is part of a series. It is a good book, full of action, and anyone can read it. Enjoy!

Just Beyond The Clouds
I have recently read a really, really good book that I have fallen in love with. It is by Karen Kingsbury, and called Just Beyond The Clouds. It is the sequel to A Thousand Tomorrows, which is also really good.
This book is about Cody Gunner, a professional Bull Rider, who after the death of his first wife is finding his life torn to pieces. Ali, his wife, had died from Cystic Fibrosis, and that story is in A Thousand Tomorrows. Cody now comes home to find his younger brother, who has Down syndrome, going to a school for people like himself. He doesn't want his brother to be hurt or get crazy ideas about living on his own in his head, and therefore is mad at the Teacher, Elle Dalton. But as the story unfolds, the two find they have more in common that they thought. They both having a sibling with Down Syndrome, Elle's younger sister Daisy and Cody’s Brother Carl Joseph (C.J.) being really good friends, and both Elle and Cody have been heartbroken through romantic love, Elle being walked away from on her wedding day four years ago. It is an excellent book, and I recommend it to anyone, especially those who love Karen Kingsbury’s books.

BFN and Lamentations
Hello!
I am just writing a quick note. we are going to be gone over the weekend, and I will not be blogging anymore for a few day. just wanted to say hi, and bye.
i haven't read any books this morning, except my bible. I started reading in Lamentations. it is a sad book, a book of five poems, kind of like a lament, or sad song. the first verses is,
"How deserted lies the city once so full of people! how like a widow is she, who once was great among the nations! she who was queen among the province, has now become a slave."
Lamentations 1:1
Kind of depressing, isnt it? well, i will have a lot to write when i get back, it is a six hour car trip! See you soon!

Lord of the Rings and Brownies
Hey Everybody!
I am really bored right now. My novel is getting close to the end of its first draft, and progress is slow. I have been reading the Lord Of The Rings The Return Of The King to try and get inspiration.
LOTR TROTK is really good. I don't think I ever finished it, and I now have under a hundred pages to go. Frodo has returned home the day before Bilbo's 120 or 121 birthday. I didnt know that frodo was gone that long. last time he was turning 111. maybe i am just confused. anyway, it is a good book. I admire JRR Tolkein very much.
i am relly hungry right now. We are waiting for thanksgiving dinner, and I am starved. I helped by making brownies. i never knew you could mess up on brownies out of a box, but i managed to by putting in too much water. we doubled the recipe, and that confused me. so at least they wont be dry ;)
well, i had better go now
bye!

HORSES!!!
Horses! I love horses! I know this dosen’t have much to do with reading but IDC!!! Horses are sooo pretty, and I luv them soo much. Yeah! I wish I had a horse, but I don’t. our neighbors do though, and I have ridden one of them a little bit. I will probably ride more another time, but not now. I also love pictures and books about horses. Duh, I was just talking about Flicka. So yeah. I guess I will be done now. Bye!
Thunderhead!
Hey everyone! Sorry I haven’t been blogging lately. I’ve been really busy with violin recital, tests I had to study for, and lots of other things. I have been reading a lot too, though, and can’t wait to finish my next book.
I am recently working on one of the two sequals to My Friend Flicka, by Mary O’Hara. It is called Thunderhead, and when I finnish it I will read the third book in the series, Green Grass of Wyoming. They are amazing books.
So far, the book is about Ken, and his mare Flicka. Flicka has a colt, and he is a white stallion. His great great grandfather (or something like that) is the legandous albiono. They are hoping that the colt will become a famous racehorse by the name Thunderhead, but for now he is know as by Goblin, the name Ken’s mother Nell gives him. but Goblin has run of, and Ken is very depressed. His dad says to him that it will always be a cycle like this. That he obsessed over Flicka, now he is obsessing over Goblin, and later on, who knows what else?
I just got to the part where Goblin is fighting with the albino, and it is very intense ;) JK. Sort of.
I guess it you want to find out how the rest of the story goes, your going to have to either stick with me, or read it yourself! (I would recommend reading My Friend Flicka first. And watching Flicka, the 2006 movie doesn’t count cuz they changed a lot. Still a good movie though!)
Bye for Now!

Rubber Houses
One of the poem books I chose to read was called Rubber Houses. It was a book that created a story out of poems. This book was a very emotional book, as it made both me and my sister (who read it before me) cry. I feel that the author, Ellen Yeomans, really got her point across. I recommend this book with much passion.
Brsingr book review
I just finished reading Brsingr, by Christopher Paolini. It is an excellent book in my opinion, and I cannot wait for the fourth book to be published. It will be hard to wait, but I am glad that Christopher Paolini decided to make the series into four books, instead of three, because otherwise events would have happened too fast.
In contrasting this series to others, I feel this was written very well. Take Harry Potter for example. Now, don’t get me wrong, I like those books too. But while I was reading them, I never really got the feeling that Harry was growing up or maturing very much. Yes, he learned many things, but one time while I was reading the fifth or sixth book, I realized that he was no longer 12 or 13, but rather 15 or 16. In comparison, I feel that Eragon has matured very much, and is not so naïve by the third book. I anticipate the fourth book very much.

The Glass Castle book review
Hi everyone!
I just finnished this really good book called The Glass Castle. It is about a young girl who grows all over the united states. Her family never really setles down, and is usually running from the government. Her father never has a steady job for more than a few months, and drinks and smokes alot. Her mother is an artist, but never makes much from that, and doesn't help with their money situation at all. The four children had to pretty much fend for themselves sometimes. The author, and main character, Jeannette Walls is the most independent of the four kids, and the one who "believes in" her father for the longest time. I enjoyed this memoir very much, and give a high recomendation of it to anyone twelve to thirteen or older.

Hey
Hey everyone!
this blog is one I will be using to tell about the books I have read in English, and maybe I will post some miscalaneous items of my own! I also might mention some good poems or books I have read otherwise. Well, since I don't have anything else to say right now, I guess I am done. More Later!
